THE STORY:
After a relentless tour schedule for the last tow years building a fanatical group of kids who are "Down with the Crown," the Kings entered the studio to create what is now "High Society." After six long months in the studio and numerous bong hits, the Kings have carved our their own niche and created a trademark sound combining elements of hip hop, punk, techno and funk.
THE FRIENDS:
As the Kottonmouth Kings prepare to smoke out the planet, they invited some close friends down to partake in the madness. Suburban Noize labelmates

Dog Boy,

Corporate Avenger,
and Grand Vanacular all lend a hand with their unique rhymin' styles. Sen Dog (Cypress Hill, SX10) came down and laid vocals on "We the People."

Insane Clown Posse collaborated with the kings "Wickit Klowns." Appearing from the Orange County punk underground Jack Grisham of TSOL belts out "Peace Not Greed," the first single on the record.
THE STORY, PART 2:
The Kottonmouth story is ever evolving. "This whole trip is a movement born and raised in OC. But like a bud plant we will take it and grow it across the country," states Brad X. "With each record the vision of the Kings gets more and more clear. The message is one of breaking down barriers that society has built. That's why we started our own label. We couldn't see anyone but the kids understanding what we're trying to create. We do everything ourselves and build it for the streets." KMK extol the virtues of self-reliance and the wake-and-bake with enough fiery zeal to turn even a weenie roast into a fire.
WHAT'S WITH THE GUY IN THE MASK:
Pakelika is the silent member of the group. He has yet to speak because the world is not ready for what he has to say. One day Pakelika will speak and that day will be a day for greatness for all. He's the Kings most likely to have his own action figure.
KMK THESIS STATEMENT:
The band remains a major player in the fight to legalize marijuana. The albums first single "Peace Not Greed" is highly critical of our nations drug laws. However, the general message is to create your own world and don't buy into the one that has been created for you. Question to all.

Too Rude did two songs with the kings and Dog Boy called Discombobulated and Dog's Life on Royal Highness.
and the punk band Humble Gods did a song called Spies with the Kings on Royal HIghness and are known friends of KMK.
